Burnham-Ward Buys Tustin’s ‘Gateway’

Enderle center rebrands as Campo on 17th

A nearly half-century-old shopping center described as the gateway to the city is set to be transformed into a modern, community-driven mixed-use destination.

Burnham-Ward Properties has officially closed on its acquisition of Enderle Center, a 132,000-square-foot shopping center that is home to the original Zov’s Bistro at 17420 E. 17th St.

The acquisition, five years in the making, clears a major hurdle in the Newport Beach-based retail developer’s plan to transform the aging Tustin shopping center into a mixed-use development with 60,000 square feet of new retail, restaurants and 100 for-sale townhomes.
